Backyard Bouquets, LLP is a local flower farm established in June 2020. Our seasonal goals are to share with the community the beauty of flowers and foliage grown in our backyard. We do this through small group workshops, events, flower subscriptions, and a presence at local farmers’ markets. Our farm specializes in tulips and peonies and is committed to creating a growing space where pollinators are priority by using as many organic elements as possible.
Hello and welcome! I’m Tina, and my passion for flowers has been with me since childhood. As a little girl, I marveled at my grandpa’s half-acre vegetable garden, always wishing for more flowers among the greens. When Steve and I began our journey together, he nurtured my love by gifting tulip bulbs and crafting beautiful window boxes.
After we married, our home was an old Victorian with a charming garden, which I eagerly expanded with—you guessed it—plenty of tulips! In 2000, I delved deeper into gardening through the Allen County Master Gardens program, dedicating 50 volunteer hours to the Lima Children’s Garden.
Today, Steve and I reside on a three-acre property we built in 2009, where we’ve been transforming the landscape into a floral paradise. Steve’s birthday surprises for me have included grand additions like a waterfall, an arbor with a swing, my beloved greenhouse, and most recently, our workshop shed with garage.
With all this flower-filled history, it was a natural step to launch Backyard Bouquets! Look out for us at local farmer’s markets and partnering with other businesses for special deals. Whether it’s for your special events or that special someone, contact us for your floral needs. Our aim is to bring beautiful and unique flowers to our community from April to September each year. We can’t wait to craft the perfect bouquet just for you!
